When I became a mother in 2024, everything changed from one day to the next.

Even though I had prepared as best I could, the first months felt like a marathon. C-section, tongue tie, breastfeeding issues, colic, doctor visits, sleepless nights — and family in another city. I was missing the proverbial village.

At the same time, I realized how much the few hours of exercise did for me. Physically and mentally. Far too late, I understood how valuable baby classes were for me — not for my child. Distraction, connection, and simply getting out of the house made an incredible difference.

And I realized how little appealing options there actually are.

With Nest Collective, I want to create a place where parents — alone or with their child — find exactly what they need right now. A place where children are welcome and parents don’t lose sight of themselves.
